ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to provide employment to the Petitioner in anyone of the suitable post in the respondent department based on the petitioner's qualification on compassionate ground by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2020, within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner's father, while he was working as Conductor in the first respondent Corporation, died on 16.03.2003. After a period of 21 years from the date of demise of his father, the petitioner made a representation seeking employment on compassionate ground. It cannot be considered, since the petitioner's family was able to survive for the past 21 years.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
