Heard Mr.S.Thankasivan, learned counsel for the applicant, Mr.T.Arul Selvan, learned counsel for respondent 1 and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 2 and 3.

This application is filed to condone the delay of 225 days in filing the appeal.

Learned counsel for respondent 1 opposed the present application on the ground that no sufficient cause is mentioned.

We have considered the accompanying affidavit filed along with the application. As far as the merits of the matter is concerned, they will have to be dealt with while considering the appeal.

For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the delay of 225 days in filing the appeal is condoned.

Accordingly, the application stands allowed and is disposed of.
