..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent -2 to complete the inquiry in Na.Ka.No.0041/2026/A2, dated (nil) 01.2026 within a stipulated period of time by proving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and all other necessary parties.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to complete the inquiry in Na.Ka.No.0041/2026/A2, dated (nil) 01.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a complaint before the respondents 2 & 3, alleging to cancel the patta issued in favour of one K.Bala, in respect of petitioner's property. In this regard the second respondent initiated inquiry in Na.Ka.No.0041/2026/A2, dated (nil) 01.2026. However, till date, the said inquiry was not completed. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Advocate appearing for the respondents sought eight weeks time to complete the said inquiry.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the inquiry in Na.Ka.No.0041/2026/A2, dated (nil) 01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
