ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to take immediate and appropriate action against the respondents 2 to 6 pursuant to the complaint dated 21.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 6.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint dated 21.01.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending before the first respondent police. Similarly, there are other complaints with regard to the same transaction pending with the first respondent police.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.

With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
