This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 18.01.2025, wherein the petitioner is questioning the alleged illegal extraction of groundwater by the 6th respondent.

2.Heard Mr.K.Pragadesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R4 and Mr.Alagu Gowtham, learned Government Advocate for R5.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3rd 2/4

respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.01.2025, after affording an opportunity to the 6th respondent and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
