ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR registered by the respondent police in Crime No.950 of 2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed before the XXIIIrd Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, on 05.01.2020 and the final report is yet to be taken on file.

Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the XXIIIrd Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, to immediately act upon the final report filed by the respondent police, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report filed by the respondent police, it is always left open to the petitioner to question the same in the manner known to law. 4.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
