O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to give adequate police protection to the warehouse situated at No.3/2, Nagappa Industrial Estate, GNT Road, Madhavaram, Chennai-66, for transporting the goods in the warehouse.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that they had engaged the services of the second respondent as C & F Agent and that the second respondent is preventing the petitioner from removing their goods stored in the warehouse at Madhavaram and therefore, this petition has been filed with the above prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. During the pendency of this petition, it appears that the petitioner and the second respondent have arrived at a compromise, the terms of which have been reduced into writing, vide Deed of compromise and settlement agreement dated 31.07.2018, under which, the petitioner has given a cheque for Rs.11,50,000/- in full quit to the second respondent and on the cheque being cleared, the second respondent would handover the keys of the warehouse to the petitioner.

Recording the same, this petition is closed.
