PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from interfering with the petitioner's club including playing of 13 cards like rummy with or without stakes and for conducting Rummy Tournament among the members of the club and also from harassing the members or guests of the petitioner Club.

ORDER

The respondents who have been added in this writ petition do not even have the jurisdiction over the place where the petitioner Association is functioning. That apart, there is no specific allegation against the respondent in the entire affidavit to the effect that they had interfered with the running of the club. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the Club falls within the jurisdiction of the S-1, St. Thomas Mount Police Station. In view of the same, this Court was not inclined to entertain in this writ petition. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks for the permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition by adding the correct respondents and by making the necessary averments in the affidavit.
