Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the proceeding of 3rd respondent in O.Mu.606/2020(Tha.Va.) dated 24.08.2020, quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd 1/5
respondent to transfer the patta and revenue records in favour of the petitioner in respect of land in S.No.463/1B2 situate at AavaniPerur MellMugam Village, Edappadi Taluk.

ORDER
The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to call for the records relating to the proceeding of the 3rd respondent in O.Mu.606/2020(Tha.Va.) dated 24.08.2020, quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to transfer the patta and revenue records in favour of the petitioner in respect of land comprised in S.No.463/1B2 situate at AavaniPerur MellMugam Village, Edappadi Taluk.

3.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents and made a statement on instructions that on 13.01.2021 enquiry has been conducted and that the final proceedings will be passed 2/5
in about 4 weeks of time.

The said statement of the learned Government Advocate is recorded. 5.Since the enquiry was already conducted, no further direction is required to be made except that the second respondent, Revenue Divisional Officer is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 06.10.2020 through a speaking order within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to such time that may be lost in responsibilities connected with the ensuing General Election of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, 2021. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
