..Respondents Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to fix the pay scales of Assistant Engineers at Rs.8000 - 13500 uniformly to Degree holding and Diploma holding Assistant Engineers while implementing the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.4041 of 2006 dated 03.08.2006. ORDER

The prayer in the present writ petition is to fix the pay scales of Assistant Engineers at Rs.8000 - 13500 uniformly to Degree holding and Diploma holding Assistant Engineers while implementing the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.4041 of 2006 dated 03.08.2006.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to the following effect. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

"I send two letters to the parties. They have received the letter. But, they have not come to any instructions and not to given the change of vakalat. Hence, I request this may be recorded report no instructions for the parties. I may be permit to withdraw the case."

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
