Heard Mr.D.Nagarajan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal. 2.

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of his Appeal filed challenging the order of reversion passed by the second respondent, which is pending for disposal. 3.

Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner and after hearing the learned counsel appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the parties, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose is going to be served by asking the respondents to file counter affidavit in this Writ Petition, and as such, disposes of the same at the stage of admission with a direction to the first respondent that, if such Appeal is pending, the same to be disposed of in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. However, in the circumstances of the case, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
