This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.346 of 2010 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.346 of 2010 was completed and final report has been filed in PRC.No.13 of 2011 before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Neyveli against five accused. Out of which, two accused are in abscondence and therefore, the case is split up in PRC.No.18 of 2011 as against the asbconding accused.

In view of the above, this petition to quash the FIR is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
