ORDER
This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.11627 of 2026 dated 08.05.2026 directing the Petitioner to report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the condition already imposed by this Court in Cr. No.519 of 2025 on the file of J1 Saidapet Police Station and Cr. No.258 of 2026 on the file of M3 Puzhal Police Station, he was not in a position to comply with the condition in the present case as directed by this Court in Crl. O.P. No.11627 of 2026 and hence, prays to modify the condition to sign before the Saidapet Police Staiton.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police though objected the application on the ground that the petitioner has not at all complied the condition as ordered by this Court, she would submit that the time may be modified.
4. From the submissions on either side, though the learned Government Advocate objected the application on the ground of non-compliance of the condition by the petitioner, in view of the earlier order passed by this Court, the petitioner had been signing before the Saidapet Police Station at the relevant
point of time. In such view of the position, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl. O.P. No.11627 of 2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioner shall sign before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m" is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall appear and sign before the Saidapet Police Station at 10.30 a.m. until further orders". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
5. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered. 18-06-2026 MJS Note:
