The above petition is filed for the grant of Succession Certificate to the 1st petitioner with power to collect the securities and to receive the dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule.

2.The petitioners would contend that the schedule mentioned securities belonged to one A.J. Srinivas, the father of the petitioners herein. The said A.J. Srinivas died on 15.12.1997 intestate leaving behind his surviving wife and his sons. Subsequently, the mother of the petitioners died on 03.01.2010 leaving behind the petitioners as the Class I legal heirs, who are entitled to the securities standing in his name equally. 3.The 1st petitioner deposed evidence as PW1 and marked Ex.P.1 - Mutual Fund Certificate of Franklin Templeton Investments dated 16.04.2019 in the name of A.J.Srinivas. Ex.P.2 is the Death Certificate of A.J. Srinivas and Ex.P.4. is the Death Certificate of Sarala who died on 15.12.1997. The legal Heirship Certificate dated 15.01.1998 has been marked as Ex.P.3. The legal Heirship Certificate dated 24.05.

2010 in respect of Sarala has been marked as Ex.P.5. The publication has also been taken out by the petitioners in one issue of Tamil Daily "Makkal Kural" dated 22.11.2019 has been marked as Ex.P.6. The 2nd petitioner has given his consent affidavit dated 08.07.

objection to the Succession Certificate be granted to the 1st petitioner Sanjay Srinivas.
