ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to issue FL2 liquor licence to the petitioner club namely sunrise Social Welfare and Recreation Club based on the application dated 03.03.2025.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a Recreation Club registered under the Societies Registration Act applied for FL2 liquor license by paying privilege and license fee of Rs.10,40,000/- on 03.03.2025, however, the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
