The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.04.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 307 of IPC and Sections 8(C) read with 22(c) & 29(i) of NDPS Act, in crime No.310 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioners along with other accused persons were found in possession of 25 tablets labeled as MDMA Ecstasy totally weighing about 13.5 grams. Hence, the case.

3. There are totally 10 accused and the petitioners were in possession of 25 numbers of MDMA Ecstasy tablets weighing 13.5 gms. It is a commercial quantity. That apart, the petitioners attacked the de-facto complainant with knife and brandy bottles. The petitioners have failed to fulfil the twin conditions as contemplated under Section 37 of NDPS Act.
