It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had voluntarily retired from the services of the respondent on 30.06.2023 as Senior Tradesman, and made a representations dated 18.04.2025 and 09.06.2025 to the respondent seeking to settle a sum of Rs.1,82,546/- towards 6% interest for the belated settlement of terminal benefits, there was no response for the same.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would fairly concede that in view of the similar orders passed by this Court in W.P.Nos 40031, 33742 and 35806 of 2024, they are willing to pay the interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment of the eligible and admissible amount.
