ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN J.) The petitioner is the wife of one Appan @ Balasubramaniam aged 45 years. According to the petitioner from 14.6.2016 onwards, he has been found missing. She made a complaint to the first respondent upon which a case has been registered for 'man missing' in Cr.No.281 of 2016. Since no action has been taken to find out the detenu, she made another complaint before the second respondent. Since he has not been so far traced out, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents and also perused the records carefully.

3. From the complaint, it is seen that the detenu is a mentally retarded person and he is found missing from 14.6.2016.

4. In the circumstances, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and take steps to trace the detenue.

5. With this observation, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
