By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner, aggrieved by the cancellation of the Family Card bearing No.07/G/0552061, has submitted a representation to the first respondent on 20.06.2016, praying for disposal of the application submitted for issuance of fresh https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Family Card and it was also followed by a reminder dated 04.07.2016 and the first respondent on receipt of the same, directed the second respondent to take action and inform the decision taken to the petitioner vide communication dated 11.07.2016 in Na.Ka.No.EC/2/1555/2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Vediappan, learned Senior Counsel for M/s.C.S. Associates, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. In the light of the above facts and circumstances, the second respondent is directed to act on the communication of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.EC/2/1555/2016, dated 11.07.2016 and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
