By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. This writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2015.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.Lesi Saravanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. The case of the petitioner is that he was initially appointed to the post of Assistant in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service and he joined the duty on 21.12.2012 in Peranamallur Panchayat Union. While so, on 09.05.2013, the petitioner met with a road accident and sustained fracture and other grievous injuries, for which, he undergone surgery on 10.05.2013.
5. The petitioner would further state that as he is suffering from continuous severe pain, he is not able to do his normal duty and therefore, he gave a representation dated 13.10.2015 to the respondent seeking transfer to other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
department. Since the said representation was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2015 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
