Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2017 within time frame and issue a patta in favour of the petitioner for the extent of 2033 sq.ft. of her land situated at Old Survey No.21/3B3A, New Survey No.21/3B3A1A1 Patta No.688, Thiruvancherry Village (Mappedu), Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

The petitioner herein has purchased the land from one P.Prabhakaran to an extent of 2033 sq.ft. in Old Survey No.21/3B3A, New Survey No.21/3B3A1A1 Patta No.688, Thiruvancherry Village (Mappedu), Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
2. The sale deed was registered before the Sub Registrar Office, Pallavaram on 03.03.1993 After purchasing the property in the year 2014, she tried to get patta for the land through website, she found that her property did not reflect the patta number in her favour. Hence, she requested the 3rd respondent to rectify the error and upload the details in the website. On 21.02.2017, she gave a representation to issue patta and other documents pertaining to the property.
3. After receipt of the representation and the reminder, the 3rd respondent has conducted the enquiry on 23.05.2017, but so far no order has been passed. Hence the present writ petition seeking Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider her representation within stipulated time frame and issue patta for her land.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram has already commenced the enquiry on the petitioner's representation and the petitioner has also participated in the enquiry. On completion of the enquiry, appropriate orders will be passed in due course.
5. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings on the representation of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner.
