For Petitioner : Mr.S.V.Karthikeyan For Respondents : Mr.N.Naveen Kumar Government Advocate O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.05.2025, seeking exclusion of his lands situated in T.S.No.2 in Block-6 and T.S.No.17/3 in Block
4 of Ward F, Sanankuppam, Ambur Town, Vellore District.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The petitioner had purchased the land to an extent of 1.52 acres comprised in S.No.420/3, Sanankuppam Village, presently T.S.No.17/3, in Block-4, Ward-F, Sanankuppam, Ambur Municipal Town, Vellore district, by way of a registered sale deed dated 26.09.1990 vide Document No.2318 of 1990. He had also purchased another property to an extent of 1.40 acres comprised in S.No.400/6, presently T.S.No.2 in Block-6, Ward-F, Sanankuppam, Ambur Municipal Town, Vellore district, by way of a registered sale deed dated 28.02.1997 vide Document No.1735/1997. The petitioner was also issued patta for the said properties. Thereafter, the said properties were laid out and sub-divided into house plots. After selling 27 house sites, the remaining property is in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner. Adjacent to the petitioner's property, the first respondent issued free house site patta to the landless poor under various schemes. Thereafter, the petitioner came to understand that the remaining land owned by the petitioner is also now
classified as Sarkar Poramboke and about to issue house site patta to the landless poor.
4. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the subject land is classified as Sarkar Poramboke and as such, the petitioner cannot object the issuance of free house site patta to the landless poor.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the land is classified as Sarkar Poramboke, the petitioner was never issued any notice and no order has been passed to re-classify the subject property as Sarkar Poramboke.
6. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to serve the copy of re-classification of the subject property as Sarkar Poramboke, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, so as to challenge the same in accordance with law.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No
costs.
