The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2020 , within a time frame.
2. The petitioner is seeking to correct his father's name in the Transfer Certificate issued to him.
3. Mr. A. Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent had corrected the name of the petitioner's father in the Transfer Certificate on 15.12.2020 therefore, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader may be recorded and the Writ Petition may be closed.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the 3rd respondent had corrected the name of the petitioner's father in the Transfer Certificate, the Writ Petition stands closed.
