Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioners application dated 14.03.2026 vide Application No.2026/ 0123/31/ 001805 and conduct the survey of the lands admeasuring an extent of 0.57.0 Hectares (1.41 acres) comprised in survey No.838/1 of Nallur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and demarcate the boundaries by availing the assistance of the 3rd respondent in the event of any obstruction from the respondents 4 to 12 within a time frame to be stipulated by this Honble Court For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 14.03.2026.

2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed an application dated 14.03.2026 before the 1st & 2nd respondents, requesting them to survey and mark the boundaries of the subject land. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 1st & 2nd respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the application filed by the petitioner dated 14.03.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent for conducting survey and laying boundary

stones at the subject land. If there is any dispute with regard to the title/possession over the said property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.

9. If any police protection is required at the time of conducting survey, the official respondents are granted liberty to avail the same by approaching the 3rd respondent. In such case, the 3rd respondent shall provide all necessary protection to the official respondents till the completion of survey at the subject land.
