No.21372 of 2025 and W.M.P No.24123 of 2023 This Writ petition filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order dated 13.03.2024 passed by the 1st respondent in Approval Petition No.59 of 2022 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to approve the order of the petitioner dated 07.03.2022 dismissing the 2nd respondent from service.

... Respondents This case came up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Petitioner and the respondent are present. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Mr. R. Balaji and Mr. M. Rajendran, Additional Government Pleader, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent are present and the 2nd respondent B. Sakthivel appeared as party-in-person. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Today, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent are present. The matter has been amicably settled between the parties. Both the parties agreed to treat the date of removal of the workman as voluntarily retired from service to pay the retirement benefits including pension to the 2nd respondent / B. Sakthivel,

Conductor, Emp. No.C15444 of Tambaram from the period of date of appointment to the date of removal i.e., from 04.01.1997 to 07.03.2022 and also pension from the date of this order.

With the above said compromise, the award is passed. The order of the Board Resolution shall form as part and parcel of this Award. There shall be no order as to costs.
