ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to grant parole, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the wife of the convict.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the convict needs to perform the ceremonies for the deceased mother, who died on 12.07.2019. He further submitted
that on an earlier occasion, one day leave was already granted to the convict.
3. The aforesaid facts are not denied or disputed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
4. Considering the above, we are inclined to grant two weeks leave to the convict. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of and the convict shall be released at 10.00 a.m. on 19.07.2019 and he shall return back to prison at 05.00 p.m. on 01.08.2019 subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed.
