PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police and to file the charge sheet within a stipulated time period as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for expediting the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2023 and to file a final report within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that there is no co-operation from the petitioner and as a result, there is a delay in completing the investigation.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will co-operate for the investigation and will provide all the necessary materials to the investigation officer.
4.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
