Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue Schedule Caste Certificate to the petitioner certifying that the petitioner belongs to Adi Dravida and consequently

direct the fifth respondent to admit the petitioner having application No.168739 under the S.C. category during the counselling of common admission.

O R D E R

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to issue Schedule Caste Certificate to the petitioner certifying that the petitioner belongs to Adi Dravida and consequently direct the fifth respondent to admit the petitioner having application No.168739 under the S.C. category during the counselling of common admission.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 16.9.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, the matter was directed to be listed after two weeks. Again, when the matter was listed on 05.10.2016, no representation was made on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed today. Even today, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP No.21635 of 2016 is also dismissed.
