This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to restrain the respondents 5 to 8 from bursting the banned country crackers at the time of Chitthirai festival of Mariyamman Temple situated at Mettucherry, V.Kalathur Village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District.

2. When the matter is taken up today, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, a perusal of the Writ Petition indicate that the relief sought in the Writ Petition itself is an abuse of process of law. As such this Writ Petition is not maintainable.
