This Court vide order dated 19.06.2019, directed the respondent to release the petitioner's lorry bearing Registration No.TN-57-AL6295. While directing so, in Paragraph 6, this Court has directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) before the jurisdictional Tahsildar concerned as non-refundable deposit.

2. Today, the matter has been brought under the caption 'for being mentioned'.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it was wrongly stated that river sand was illegally transported in the lorry, actually, it was Eri sand and not river sand. Since it was wrongly represented that river sand was illegally transported, this Court directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/-. Hence, he seeks modification of the said condition.
