O R D E R

1.These writ petitions have been been filed by the petitioners, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, Calling for

records in notice dated 27.06.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same.

2.The enquiry being conducted by the 4th respondent , Joint Commissioner, Vellore in respect of the dispute raised by the petitioner. In view of the fact that the enquiry is on going in progress, it would be highly inappropriate on the part of this Court to express any opinion on the merits of the present writ petition.

3.The learned Special Government pleader appearing for HR & CE states on instruction that the next hearing date is scheduled on 13.12.2019.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner also states that the petitioner will also participate in the enquiry and the Joint Commissioner may continue with the enquiry and pass final orders on 10.01.2020. A representation was also made by the learned counsel that the Joint Commissioner is the competent authority. That issue may be kept open and if the petitioner is aggrieved with the order passed pursuant to the directions of this Court, he may raise the competency of the officer to pass the order also in the appeal before the appellant authority. 5.With the above observations, this writ petition is closed. No costs. consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
