By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/5
2.The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to register and release the sale deed dated 28.3.2025 submitted by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner purchased land and building comprised in S.No.134, T.S.No.140, Site No.27, measuring an extent of 2400 sq.ft. situated at Tiruppur South, Tiruppur, for a valid sale consideration vide Sale Deed dated 28.03.2025 and ever since, petitioner has been in continuous possession of the property.
4.It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Sale Deed dated 28.03.2025 was presented before the 2nd respondent for registration, and the said deed was kept pending by the 2nd respondent without assigning any reasons. Thereafter, petitioner submitted a representation dated 15.04.2025 before the respondents seeking registration. The above representation has not been considered by the respondents till date. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

5.On this being pointed out, learned Special Government Pleader would submit that Sale Deed would be registered and released if it is otherwise in order. If for any reason, there is a need for refusal of registration of the Sale Deed, they would do so after assigning reason by issuing refusal slip, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
6.In view thereof, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to register and release the Sale Deed if it is otherwise in order, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy of the order. If for any reason, there is a need for refusal of registration of the Sale Deed, they would do so after assigning reason by issuing refusal slip. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
