ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 3 to 6 to forthwith permit the petitioners to report for duty as teachers, Head Cook and Office Assistant in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Residential schools at Pukkiravari, Kallakurichi District and regularly pay the salary of the petitioners and also pay the arrears of salary.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioners were working as Teachers, Cook and Office Assistant in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Residential schools at Pukkiravari, Kallakurichi District for the past several years. All of a sudden, they were not permitted to enter into the School.
4. A perusal of records revealed that the petitioners were appointed on temporary basis and on consolidated salary by the private school i.e., Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Residential schools at Pukkiravari, Kallakurichi District. Now, they were not engaged by the said School. Therefore, the petitioners have no right to compel the private School to engage them for further period in the same post. That apart, the petitioners did not implead the said school as respondent.
5. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 01.08.2024 (1⁄2) Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn
