Date: 8.8.2019 The Applicant, by this Application has sought for Leave of the court to file Appeal against the order passed by the learned Single Judge.
2. In a similar matter viz., Writ Appeal No.2274 of 2019, we have passed an order on 6.8.2019, recording the Undertaking of the learned Additional Solicitor General. The said order is quoted below for ready reference:- "Mr.G.Rajagopalan, learned Additional Solicitor General of India, appearing for the AppellantCorporation, submits that the Employees State Insurance Corporation will immediately undertake the Admission Process in view of the order of Interim Stay passed by this Court on 18.07.2019, by which, the operation of the order of the learned Single Judge, dated 07.06.2019, was stayed.
2. The learned Additional Solicitor General further submitted that the Hon'ble Supreme Court,
by an order, dated 15.07.2019, in S.L.P.(Civil) Diary No.24032/2019 filed against the final order of the learned Single Judge of this Court, dated 07.06.2019, in W.P.No.35853 of 2016, in Steve Santhosh Baby & Ors. v. Medical Council of India and Ors., has dismissed the S.L.P. with a further observation that in case any clarification is required, it is open to the petitioners to file necessary application before the High Court.
3. Some such applications have been filed before this Court, seeking impleadment.
4. However, the learned Additional Solicitor General has undertaken before the Court that in view of the Stay Order passed by this Court on 18.07.2019 in W.A.No.2274 of 2019 and C.M.P.No.15099 of 2019 staying the operation of the order of the learned Single Judge, dated 07.06.2019, the ESI Corporation shall immediately undertake the Admission Process in accordance with the relevant Rules providing for Reservation of 20% of Seats to the Wards of the Insured Persons in the Medical Colleges, established by the
ESI Corporation.
5. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Solicitor General of India as above, these Writ Appeals are disposed of.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected C.M.P.Nos.15099, 15206 and 16231 of 2019 are closed."
3. In view of the aforesaid order which has a general application to all such similarly placed students seeking Admission as Wards of the Insured Persons in the Medical Colleges, established by the ESI Corporation, we do not consider it appropriate to grant Leave to the present Applicant separately. The Application is, accordingly, disposed of.
