ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.04.2026, seeking bail in Crime No.14 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 331 and 64(2)(K) of BNS, 2023 seeks bail. Page No.1 of 4

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner trespassed into the house of the victim and committed rape on her, who is aged about 78 years and she is a mentally disordered person. Hence, the case. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.Learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondent police, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the victim is still bleeding and she was admitted in the hospital.

5. Taking into consideration the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner as against the victim aged about 78 years, who is a mentally disordered person, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
