Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent police to read over the information written in the F.I.R to the writ petitioner and get his signature in the F.I.R (F.I.R. No. 938/2020, dated 28.09.2020), as well as provide the copy of the said F.I.R to the Writ Petitioner as free of cost.

ORDER
On getting instructions, the Additional Public Prosecutor represents that, on the petitioner appearing before the respondent police, the respondent police would serve the copy of the FIR to the petitioner under proper acknowledgment.
2. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to approach the respondent police and obtain the copy of the FIR registered in the matter.
3. With the abovesaid directions, the Writ Petition is closed.
