ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2019, for the grant of sector in the stage career permit issued by the respondent with permit number P.ST.P.10/BY/89 in accordance with law.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondent had issued the stage career permit dated 06.09.2017 for the petitioner's vehicle in the route viz., Kanagachettikulam to Sedrapet. On 01.08.2017, the petitioner through representation requested the respondent for modification of route as Lingareddipalayam to Puducherry and Puducherry to Kanagachettikulam instead of Sedarapet and the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner once again made a representation dated 08.01.2018 to the respondent for the modification of the route. Since the same was also not considered, on 01.07.2019, the petitioner made another https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation to the respondent. Though the respondent received the representation of the petitioner, so far has not taken any decision on the same. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3.Mrs.G.DJearany, learned Government Advocate (Pondy) appearing for the respondent filed counter affidavit and submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2019 requesting to modify the existing route for the petitioner's vehicle as Lingareddipalayam to Puducherry and Puducherry to Kanagachettikulam, will be placed before the respondent in the next meeting and orders will be passed within a time limit fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2019 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
