The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to forbear the respondents herein or their men or their agents from interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land comprised of 8.62 acres in Survey No.476 of Kaniyur Village, Palladam Taluk, Coimbatore District. 2.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is willing to withdraw the case and hence, he has also made an endorsement to the effect :

"The Petitioner has instructed me to withdraw the writ petition. Therefore, I may be permitted to withdraw the Writ Petition"

In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
