(Order of the Court was made by M. SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) (Through Video Conferencing) The petitioner, who has been issued with permanent Community Certificate, bearing No.327299 in R.Dis.No.77/2011/E, dated 21.06.2011, by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tambaram, certifying that he belongs to "Hindu Scheduled Tribe Kattinaicken" Community, submitted application for getting Community Certificate for his children, namely, S.R.Yonishasri and S.R.Rithish Mani.
2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the reports of the Revenue officials are in his favour, and despite that, the application, dated 10.12.2018, submitted by the petitioner for getting Community Certificate in favour of his children, is yet to be disposed of, and therefore, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Ms.R.J.Radhika, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, in the light of the facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in his application, dated 10.12.2018, or in the present writ petition, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 10.12.2018, requesting for issuance of "Hindu Scheduled Tribe Kattunaicken" Community Certificate for his children, on merits and in accordance with law, and also in an objective manner, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of this order in the website, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
