ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to reimburse the medical expenses incurred by the petitioner for himself and their children treatment a sum of Rs.1,27,985/- along with interest.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is working as Forester in the Forest Department. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that himself and his children were admitted at the M/s.Dharan Hospital from 05.11.2021 to 02.11.2021 and subsequently they were discharged. They paid a sum of Rs.1,27,985/- to the Hospital. Hence, he made an application claiming reimbursement, which was subsequently, forwarded to the second respondent. The second respondent recommended the application to the fourth respondent for disbursal of the same vide proceedings dated 29.07.2022, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition. 2/4

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. On perusal of the communication in Rc.No.7642/NHIS-1/2022 dated 29.07.2022 sent by the second respondent to the fourth respondent Insurance Company, which would indicate that the second respondent has forwarded the application regarding medical reimbursement as per the eligibility criteria.

5. Such view of the matter, the fourth respondent is directed to disburse the medical reimbursement to the petitioner as per the eligibility criteria within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
