ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has applied for a temporary electricity connection and it is pending consideration of the 2nd respondent since 21.02.2023 for one connection and since 07.03.2023 for another temporary connection. The learned counsel for the petitioner now submits on instructions that the petitioner has been informed by the 2nd respondent that there are certain pending dues which it is obligated to pay.

3.Mr.C.Jaivenkatesh, the learned standing counsel takes notice for TNEB, the respondents herein.

4.Inasmuch as there is some movement seen from the desk of the 2nd respondent, this Court merely requests the 2nd respondent to act strictly in accordance with law and dispose of the petitioner's application within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 14.07.2023 kas Index : Yes / No Copy to:
