O R D E R

The petition for transfer is filed to transfer H.M.O.P.No.612 of 2020 from Family Court, Thoothukudi to the Subordinate Court, Tambaram.

2. The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 02.02.2015 as per the Hindu Rites and Customs. The petitioner is now working in the State Bank of India, Meenambakkam Branch, Chennai. The petitioner and the respondent developed a misunderstanding and now living separately.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is now working in the State Bank of India, Meenambakkam Branch and the respondent is working in State Bank of India at Mumbai. Though the respondent/husband is working in Mumbai and in order to harass the petitioner, he filed H.M.O.P.No.612 of 2020 before the Family Court, Thoothukudi for Dissolution of Marriage.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that both the petitioner as well as the respondent are not residing in Thoothukudi and therefore, the case is to be transferred to Chennai, which would not cause any prejudice to either of the parties.

5. In view of the said submission, H.M.O.P.No.612 of 2020 now pending on the file of the Family Court, Thoothukudi stands transferred to the Sub Court, Tambaram.

6. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition No.530 of 2020 stands allowed and H.M.O.P.No.612 of 2020 pending on the file of the Family Court, Thoothukudi, is directed to be transferred to the Sub-Court, Tambaram. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
