When the matter came up before this Court on 06.09.2022, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation was completed and the charge sheet was also filed before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri and the same was not taken on file. But as per the report received from the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri, dated 27.09.2022, the charge sheet had not been filed and the case was pending at the FIR stage. Since, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor had been misguided by the Investigating Agency, this Court by order dated 20.10.2022, had directed the Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore, to appear before this Court on 03.11.2022 along with the status report with regard to the present stage of investigation in Crime No.56 of 2021.
2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr. Saroj Kumar Thakur, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri District, appeared before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that due to some sensitive issue of Bomb Blast, the Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore, could not appear before this Court however, he had filed the compliance report along with the disciplinary action taken report initiated against the concerned Inspector of Police, under Rule 3(a) of TNPSS (D & A) Rules 1955. Hence, the personal appearance of the Inspector General of Police, Coimbatore, is dispensed with.

4. The Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri District, is directed to file report regarding the outcome of the disciplinary proceedings within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
