Respondents in W.P.No.21419 of 2024 Prayer in W.P.no.21419 of 2024: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing first respondent to effect residential electricity service connection to the petitioner residential house under Tariff-IA situated at S.F.No.182, Door No.294 Sudarmani Jai Nagar, Nallur, Tiruppur District based on his application dated 24.06.2024 without insisting NOC from the second respondent.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.K.Rameshwar (In all the petitions) For Respondents : Mr.L.JaiVenkatesh R1 Standing Counsel Mr.V.S.Ravichandran AGP R2 COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to act upon the applications submitted by the petitioners on different dates, wherein the petitioners have sought for service connection for their residential premises.

2. Heard, the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen from records that a persons who was similarly placed like the petitioners approached this Court and filed W.P.No.25309 of 2018 and this Court disposed of the writ petition by an order dated 25.09.2018 by issuing certain directions. The same direction will enure to the benefit of the

petitioners also.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the applications submitted by the petitioners and if the petitioners satisfy all the requirements and also executes the necessary indemnify bond, the first respondent is directed to process the applications and provide service connection to the petitioners. The first respondent shall complete the process within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
