O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to settle a sum of Rs.1,28,645/- to the 1st petitioner herein and a sum of Rs.1,18,289/- to the 2nd petitioner herein towards difference in Medical Leave Salary with 6% interest in view of G.O.(Ms) No.220, Transport (C1) Department dated 06.08.1999 and in the light of orders of this Court passed in W.P.(MD) No.14520 of 2020 dated 21.03.2023, W.P.No.29602, 29604, 29606 and 29609 of 2023 dated 12.10.2023, W.P.No.2176 of 2024 dated 02.02.2024, W.P.No.25068 of 2024 dated 02.09.2024, W.P.No.2891 of 2025 dated 10.02.2025 and W.P.No.2895 of 2025 dated 10.02.2025 and by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 28.05.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were joined as Junior Assistant in the Respondent-Corporation on 07.10.1981 and 18.11.1981 respectively and on attaining the age of superannuation, they retired from service as Superintendent on 31.03.2015 and 30.09.2013 respectively. The learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that the petitioners are entitled for difference in medical leave salary. In this connection, they have sent a representation to the respondent on 28.05.2025 to settle the difference in medical leave salary. However, the respondent has not made payment inspite of their representation dated 28.05.2025. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation, within a reasonable time.
5. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to 3/6
consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 19.06.2025 (2/2) dm Index : Yes/No Speaking order 4/6
