This Civil Revision Petition has been filed against the judgment and decree passed in C.M.A.No.1 of 2014 dated 31.07.2019 on the file of the Chief Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai by confirming the order of Surcharge passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.2664 of 199 Sa.Pa.01 dated 27.01.2014.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the sole petitioner died and as such, the case is abated and to prove the same, he filed death certificate issued by the Greater Chennai Corporation, Department of Public Health, dated 19.11.2023. The said certificate is placed on record.

3. Considering the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed as abated.

4. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
