O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for modification of the bail condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.1565 of 2021 dated 21.09.2021 on the file of the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruppur.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the Manager in Indian bank has misappropriated the amount of Rs.2,32,88,000/-.Thereafter the petitioner filed a bail application before the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruppur and by an Order dated 21.09.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.1565 of 2021, the Sessions Court granted bail by imposing conditions of his executing a bond for Rs.10,00,000/- with two sureties to be the son and the wife of the petitioner and further imposed a condition that the petitioner should produce their property https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

documents for the surety amount. Now, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not in a position to secure the blood relative (wife and son) as surety. Hence, he sought for suitable modification of the above said condition.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the conditions imposed on the petitioner by the Sessions Court below in Crl.M.P.No.1565 of 2021 vide order dated 21.09.2021, is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs Only) with two local sureties(Friends of the petitioner) each for a like sum.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed with the above said modification.
