Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent to produce the body of the detenue, namely, U.Manjula, daughter of V.G.Umashankar, before this Hon'ble Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.Nagamuthu,J.) The petitioner is the father of one U.Manjula, aged about 17 years. Her date of birth is 02.02.1999. According to the petitioner, her daughter, namely, the detenue was found missing from 04.07.2016 onwards. Therefore, he has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. When this matter was taken up today, the minor detenue was produced by the respondent. The petitioner also made appearance along with his wife.

3. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. When we enquired the minor detenue, she told us that she was not kidnapped by anybody and because of some domestic quarrel, she went out of the house, and now, she is willing to go with the petitioner. The same is recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of, entrusting the minor girl to the petitioner, for safe custody.
