(Order of the Court was made by M.Duraiswamy, J.) There is a delay of 285 days in filing the appeal.

2.The petitioner has explained the reasons for the delay in paragraph nos.6 to 8 of the affidavit filed in support of the petition.

3.The learned counsel for the 7th respondent submitted that the petitioner has not explained the reasons for the delay in a proper manner.

4.The learned counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that since the petitioner has explained the reasons for the delay on the ground that the petitioner's son was unwell, this Court can take a lenient view.

5.We are satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. In these circumstances, we are inclined to condone the delay of 285 days in filing the appeal. Accordingly, the delay is condoned and the petition is ordered.
