This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of 1/4

the order dated 05.08.2022 made in W.P.No.20067 of 2022. 2.This Court vide order dated 05.08.2022 made in W.P.No. 20067 of 2022 issued direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2021 seeking to refer the matter under Section 64 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, within a time frame. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent produced the compliance report filed by the respondent, wherein, in paragraph nos.5 and 6 it is stated as follows: "5.It is humbly submitted that in pursuant to the direction of this Hon'ble Court, in W.P.No 20067 of 2022 Dated 05.08.2022, The application filed by petitioner dated 5.3.2021 for enhancement of compensation has been referred to The Principal District Judge Chengalpat, under section 20(1) of the Tamilnadu Highways Act 2001 on 3.8.2023 vide Letter RC No.11340/2022/B1 Dated 2.8.2023.

6.It is further submitted that, by referring the petitioners petition for enhanced compensation to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, Under section 20(1) of the Tamilnadu Highway Act 2001, the order of the Hon'ble High Court in W.P.No.20067 of 2022 dated 05.08.2022, has been duly complied by this respondent."

4.In view of the above, there is no willful disobedience and this Contempt Petition is closed.
